MB introduces new quick coupler

MB (Meccanica Breganzese) S.p.A., the Vicenza-based manufacturer of jaw-action crusher buckets, has introduced a new universal quick coupler.  Available in seven versions, for excavator sizes ranging from 7 to 40 tons, MB's Universal Quick Coupling allows for the use of a range of attachments, from crusher buckets to hammers, and from traditional buckets to drills, with very short installation times.  

This new product improves pick-up geometry by reducing the distance between the excavator arm and the equipment used, thus speeding up jobs carried out onsite. Units are quick and versatile, and allow users to quickly assemble pieces of equipment on both sides (front and back).    Additionally, according to MB, strain on the excavator is also diminished when using this product, thanks to a weight reduction of more than 50%, compared  to traditional couplings offered on the market. MB's new Universal Quick Coupling weighs about 80 kg, compared to a weight of closer to 150 kg for average couplers available today on the market.
