C-Thru bin enhances recycling and security
This new litter and recycling bin is manufactured from a robust clear material called Clear Durapol. According to its manufacturer, UK-based Glasdon International, during the last decade the demand for a C-Thru bin has increased immensely. Many waste managers now require a transparent bin that will virtually remove the risk of contamination of recycled goods, and provide the added security benefit of allowing users and maintenance staff to see what is inside a bin, especially in higher risk areas.
The transparent body of the C-Thru Bin allows it to blend into any location. It has a large 180 litre/27 gallon capacity, ideal for waste streams such as bottles or cans. And units feature colour-coded lids with unique shape apertures, banding and clear graphics to help ensure that users deposit waste in the correct bin.
According to Glasdon, in May 2009, C-Thru bins were authorized as the only recycling bin approved for use on UK. railway platforms, due to security and the product’s excellent recycling features.
