Filmgrabber removes foil

The Filmgrabber is a revolving drum with movable spikes that is designed to mechanically remove foil from a flow of materials, making the sorting process smoother. Incoming material flows towards the unit on a conveyor belt and an air system blows the foil slightly upwards. The Filmgrabber spikes pull the foil from the material flow and the remaining material falls beneath onto a separate conveyor. The Filmgrabber removes more than 70 percent of foil larger than A4 from a flow of materials.
