Sandvik adds scalper to lineup

Sandvik recently added the QE340 mobile screen to their extensive line of screening equipment. The QE340, formerly known as the Extec E-7 Scalper prior to Sandvik’s acquisition of Extec, features a heavy-duty crusher-type chassis which ensures maximum up-time and a large total scalping area that allows for enormous rates of production. This machine is capable of being fed by large crushers, yet precise enough to produce precision aggregates, and tough enough to recycle mixed materials. In addition, a variety of screening media can be fitted to both decks. “The QE340 has proven to be an important addition to the Sandvik portfolio of screening equipment,” said Dan Allan, President, Sandvik Mining and Construction. “The design of the QE340 and Sandvik’s expanded support network will provide customers with a more dependable level of service while also ensuring minimal loss of production.” The QE340 is specifically designed for use in a variety of applications such as recycling, quarrying, contracting and mining.
