Drainage system increases efficiency and safety for auto dismantlers

SEDA Environmental has introduced the Module One Drainage System, its smallest fully-integrated fluid evacuation system. The Module One is designed as an affordable compact drainage system for fast, efficient and safe removal of gasoline, antifreeze, windshield washer and waste oils, including transmission, engine, differentials and powersteering, from end-of-life vehicles. Units are ideal as an entry level system for auto disman-tlers and recyclers who want to leave behind antiquated and potentially hazardous methods of the past, such as gravity-based tub and pick-axe systems.

Like all SEDA systems, Module One uses a combination of suction and air pressure to remove up to 98 percent of all liquid contaminants in end-of-life vehicles. It is very versatile, can be used either indoors or outdoors, and in a single bay or shared twin bay setup. The Module One is ideally suited to recyclers using anywhere from one to ten dismantling bays/lifts, and has the capacity of processing up to 40 cars per day in a designated, double bay drainage set up at a full service dismantling facility. Drainage time is approximately six to eight minutes and units feature a modular design and interchangeable parts to accommodate expansion and suit specific requirements.
