Bottom Discharge Hog
Engineered with a staggered flying knife arrangement that provides high levels of efficiency, Jordan Reduction Solutions’ Bottom Discharge Hogs will reduce most types of materials, including wood, aluminum, asphalt tile, asbestos, plastic, rubber, glass, leather and copper wire. The flying knife design reduces material by shaving rather than chopping, resulting in more uniform-sized particles. Often, this means less grinding time to reduce material to the required size for further processing, transport or discharge. This cutting action is also smoother, produces very low levels of vibration, shock and heat buildup, and requires lower horsepower.
All Bottom Discharge Hog models feature all-steel cylinders and hardened steel knives, optional water cooling, interchangeable screens for control of end-product size, heavy-duty, double row, tapered roller bearings, and easy-access openings for quick clean-up. Various models are available with or without screens, and with capacities up to 22,500 pounds per hour.
