New portable screen plant features built-on conveyor
Built as an upgrade to the TROM406HM portable screening plant, the new model TROM406HMSL is now offered with a built-on 30-inch wide slinger conveyor that conveys material 10 feet away from the screening plant. The new conveyor allows operators the option to stockpile or windrow screened material without touching the “overs pile.” Units are powered by a 35-hp diesel engine, will produce up to 60 yards per hour and are designed to compete with larger screening plants at a lower cost.
The TROM406HM was designed as an extremely portable screening plant for small producers of compost and topsoil, and is equipped with a tipping grizzly to reject over sized material, variable speed 24-inch wide feeder, a 42 blade pulverizer, and a four-foot diameter by six-foot long trommel screen. Units can be towed behind a 3/4-ton pick-up truck and can be set up in minutes.
