GLS bucket linkage shear
Genesis’ GLS Bucket Linkage Shear is designed for cutting light to medium material, using bolt-in cutting blades that easily process structural and plate steel, re-bar, pipe, non-ferrous metals, concrete and tires. Manufactured from the same strong and abrasion-resistant, custom-alloy steel as all Genesis attachments, GLS units use oversized pivot shaft and bearings which provide extended service life. Units pin-on in place of an excavator bucket, with no additional plumbing needed, and their compact jaw design allows for a very quick cycle time.
The GLS Bucket Linkage Shear’s patented bolt-on piercing tip can be replaced in minutes without grinding or welding, and four way indexing guide blades, razor blade and primary blades provide four useable cutting edges. Units also include common pivot group and pinning points that accommodate Genesis’ full line of Power Series linkage tools, with one stiff arm, and are designed to stand upright for safe and easy attachment changes and convenient storage and transport.
