EPS densifiers turn foam into valuable resource

Designed to turn foam into a valuable resource, EPS foam densifiers can reduce total hauling costs by up to 80 percent. Units are ideal for use in distribution centres, manufacturing plants, electronic recycle and repair centres, food processing, warehouses, retail stores, and schools or government offices. The XT500 model (shown here) is ideal for mid to large size applications and is designed easy to maintain with fast, effective conveyor system loading. All EPS foam densifiers feature a volume reduction ratio of up to 90 to 1, and densification is from 200 pounds of expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) per hour (XT200 model) up to 700 pounds per hour (XT700 model). Plus, an optional air purifier, which shares the densifier’s power source, is available for all models. The largest current model, the XT700 is capable of handling large quantity wet or dry materials with its conveyor, blower and silo system, and is expandable with additional silo/extruder modules. The compact XT200 model is designed for mobility, weighs only 1,400 pounds, and is convenient and safe for public use. This company also offers F Series food waste processors which use high-speed drying to dry-compress up to 250 pounds per day of food waste down to between 10 and 6 percent of its original volume.
