Aerosol-can recycling system

Aerosolv technology is a system that safely manages RCRA-regulated aerosol cans. Ideal for businesses such as hair salons, factories, car servicing centres, shipyards, cruise ships and airlines, which generate large numbers of aerosol cans, these systems allow companies to avoid the cost of disposing of the cans as hazardous waste. Using the Aerosolv system, a drum holds the contents of 4,200 aerosol cans, so that both the cans and the chemical contents can be recycled and sold. This EPA-verified technology punctures, depressurizes and drains aerosol cans containing paint, solvents and hydrocarbons – volatile organic compounds that vapourize, and because they are in pressurized containers, are subject to strict hazardous waste regulations.
