High-capacity track primary impact crusher introduced
The latest addition to the QuarryTrax line of track-mobile crushers, the model TI6060 is a primary impact crushing plant designed for production of up to 800 tons per hour. Featuring a heavy-duty Telsmith model PA6060 Primary Impact Crusher, these plants are engineered to maximize crushing hours and minimize maintenance. A key differentiating component is this plant’s massive, solid-type rotor set on oversized 220 mm wide series bearings. With its heavier rotor, the impact crusher delivers higher inertia to optimize crushing, and the ruggedness to consistently crush 40-inch stone or concrete slabs. Easy to transport, and ready to crush in just minutes, the QuarryTrax TI6060 is ideal for processing a specification product in either concrete recycle or low-abrasion quarried stone applications.

The plant’s PA6060 impact crusher incorporates technologies that preventCircuit-damage from any uncrushable materials, Weight while reducing maintenance and operat- for ing costs. Units also feature the Trax-Max Construction control system which monitors and controls plant operations including engine systems, hydraulic systems, component settings, alarm conditions and troubleshooting. Power is provided by a CAT-15, Tier III, 540-hp engine. Telsmith #7100 Intermat 2009 set for spring Intermat, ConExpo and Bauma are the three big names in international trade shows for the construction, public works and materials industries, and each takes place once every three years on a rotating basis. ConExpo, the huge U.S. show, was held last spring in Las Vegas. Next spring, it will be Intermat’s turn from April 20 to 25 in Paris, France, at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Convention and Exhibition Centre. At the 2006 Intermat, there were 209,032 attendees, with 45 percent being international visitors from 127 countries, and 1,320 exhibitors from 43 countries, with international exhibitors accounting for 64 percent of the total.

New features for the 2009 show include an increased focus on the environment and sustainable development, including an ECO Public Works Showcase and a new Sustainable Development Prize as part of the show’s Innovation Awards. Other new features will include a “Life on the Worksite” feature, and a Mines & Quarries feature. There will be quarry visits prior to the show and a special program for quarry professionals and buyers. There will also be added coverage of handling and logistics, and of equipment, components and accessories for suppliers and major manufacturers as well as their sub-contractors. “Life on the Worksite” will present equipment necessary for worker safety and welfare on a day-to-day basis. It covers such topics as accident prevention, training, clothing, communications systems (GPS, radios, telecommunications devices, etc.), remote security monitoring and systems for stopping and intercepting stolen vehicles. The ECO Public Works Showcase will function as an open forum where visitors and exhibitors can discuss concrete projects such as designing specific materials suited to very demanding “green” specifications. Intermat is the only trade show in the world to provide a full 30,000 square metres of outdoor demonstration space for exhibitors, giving them the opportunity to show how their machinery performs in an area representative of a real worksite. This special feature has made the show a favourite among industry professionals.
