Infrared camera systems cut through smoke and steam

The Clear-View infrared camera system is designed as a high-quality, affordable technology that allows a shredder operator to have a “clear view” of the infeed chute by cutting through the steam and smoke generated from shredding scrap. These systems are engineered with a very tight viewing area, and the location of the camera gives the operator a perspective similar to his own. These systems come complete with protective casing, camera, LCD monitor and all cables and connections needed for installation, or installation can be provided. The US Shredder and Castings Group recently delivered two Clear-View Infrared Shredder Camera Systems. The systems are installed at Cimco Recycling in Sterling, Illinois, and at Columbus Metals in Columbus, Nebraska.
