New generation of material handlers introduced
Hyundai’s new generation of material handlers, beginning with the model R360LC-7A MH, are designed specifically to offer versatility, operator comfort and power for the scrap and materials handling industry. The R360LC-7A features 360-degree visibility and a raised cab with wide-cab interior design, and sound levels are low due to newly-designed door and engine seals as well as a sound-dampening insulated engine compartment. Also, new viscous mounts have been added to the cab supports to reduce vibration and provide a smoother ride. For power, the R360 uses a 296 gross horsepower, six-cylinder, four-cycle, turbo-charged Cummins QSL engine, featuring high levels of fuel and operating efficiency, and Tier III level emissions.

The R360LC-7A MH also uses Hy-undai’s CAPO system for computerized control of all electric-powered functions, as well as an advanced hydraulic system designed for smooth-precise control, and improved joystick-to-attachment response time. Plus, energy-saving features such as an arm-in/boom-down hydraulic fl ow regeneration system improves speed without requiring more engine power, providing increased productivity and fuel efficiency.

The brains of these machines – Hy-undai’s CAPO computer system – ties the hydraulic system and engine technology together for maximum synergy. This system offers two operator-power mode selections, three work mode selections and two user mode selections to optimize machine performance for the job at hand.

Maintenance and diagnostic capabilities are also simplified on the R360LC-7A MH, with a centralized lubrication bank and easy access to filters and service areas. The CAPO system also simplifies service on the machine by displaying service fault codes on the monitor.
