HIGH-PRODUCTION TRACK GRINDERS
The 2710C is Peterson’s latest generation of high-production track grinders. Units are powered by a Cat C13 engine at 475 hp (354kW) or an optional C15 at 580 (433kW) hp. At 59,000 pounds (27,000 kg) the 2710C was designed for operations requiring high production and frequent moves between jobs, and with a feed opening of 60.75 by 32 inches (1,534 by 813 mm) combined with Peterson’s high lift feed roll for an optional opening of up to 44 inches (1,118 mm) high, the 2710C can readily reduce a wide range of material.
Key features of the 2710C include: a new generation of Impact Release System and controls; a large grate area; and an Impact Cushion System which uses urethane cushions to cushion impacts due to contaminants in the feed material.
