9564 INDUSTRIAL HORIZONTAL GRINDER

Duratech’s 9564 Industrial Horizontal Grinder features a 40- by 60.5-inch feed opening and a HPTO 15 wet clutch. This massive machine can grind an entire tree, large stumps, branches, wood pallets or green waste, and is equipped with an enclosed engine compartment, producing very low decibel readings, and a self-cleaning air intake system. The 9564 is heavy-duty and safe. With the downward drive of its hammermill, more debris will stay contained, allowing users to grind in close proximity to streets and residential areas. “The 9564 Industrial Horizontal Grinder has the power to get through the toughest grinding jobs,” says Al Goehring, marketing manager for Du-raTech. “The 12,100 pound hammer-mill makes grinding easy, and with a Caterpillar C27 Tier II 950-hp diesel engine, you can’t go wrong.” Some other key features include a 40-degree oscillating unloading conveyor; a 30-foot-long unloading conveyor that stacks material 22 feet high; a 315-cubic-foot hopper capacity; a 4,340-square-inch screen area; 42-inch diameter feed roller; 64-inch 12,100-pound hammermill with 24 hammers (tip swing of 51 inches) eight hammer rods (3.25-inch diameter) and 39-inch diameter by 1.5-inch thick rotor plates.
