Track-mounted impact crusher makes debut
Introduced to North America at ConExpo this year, the new Fintec 1440 track-mounted impact crusher is equipped with a Sandvik impactor. The new model is the company’s first since it was acquired by Sandvik in 2007. Powered by a fuel-efficient 330 kW CAT C-13 Tier III-compliant diesel engine, the Fintec 1440 is carried on a manoeuvrable, tracked undercarriage, and incorporates a Sandvik PR301D impactor with a fluid clutch drive. Fed via a two-deck pre-screen, the crusher is a four-hammer, open-style rotor with a pair of hydraulically adjustable impact curtains that together deliver high outputs. It has a diameter of 45 inches (1,150 mm) and a width of 52 inches (1,330 mm), discharging onto a secondary pan feeder, and is equipped with a primary feeder and a separate two-deck pre-screen. The 1440 is designed to deliver throughputs from 330 to 385 TPH in materials including granite, slate, limestone, brick and asphalt, and is suitable for a wide variety of applications such as secondary or fine crushing of softer rocks, and in various demolition and recycling applications. Other key features include: an operating weight of 54.9 tons and a 50-foot one-inch long transport configu-ration in a single load, allowing it to be moved easily from site to site with quick and easy set-up and operation. Optional equipment includes a remote diesel and water pump, an overband magnet for recycling and demolition applications, belt scales, radio remote and a dolly chassis for ease of transport.
