SBX cone crusher introduced at ConExpo
Introduced in March at ConExpo, Tel-smith’s new Model SBX Cone Crusher is an evolution in design from the company’s SBS cone crushers. The SBX Cone Crusher is engineered with new internal components and crushing chamber profiles that allow it to accept larger feed. Combining high performance and an extra-coarse feed opening, the SBX is ideal for secondary crushing circuits that once required larger crushers. Its advanced features and benefits include a Dynamic Adjust system that enables remote adjustment under load; a maintenance-free hydraulic Anti-spin system that extends manganese life; a large stroke chamber clearing system that delivers safe and quick recovery from a shutdown; and heavy duty components for reliable, low-cost crushing. The high-performance Model SBX is designed for compatibility with any fully automated plant and can be combined with TRAC 10, a stand-alone crusher control system that cost-effectively delivers all the benefits of automation without the big budget hassles of completely reworking plant controls. The TRAC 10 remote SBX automation control system is designed to provide improved performance at lower costs per ton, allowing operators to efficiently monitor crusher operations (while protecting the crusher from overload), easily make adjustments to crusher settings, and conveniently collect operational and maintenance data – all without having to rework existing plant controls. The SBX Cone Crusher Series is available in three models from 300 to 500 hp – the 44SBX, 52SBX and the 57SBX.
