Drum recycling wand handles lubricating oils
Expensive machine lubricating oils have traditionally been collected in large amounts and sent off site for disposal or re-refining. With the OILMISER Drum Recycling Wand, used oil can now be reconditioned on site, one drum at a time. Using the Drum Recycling Wand and a filter cart, both the suction line and the return line on the filter cart can be easily connected in a “kidney” loop arrangement, reconditioning the oil right in the drum. Additionally, a provision on these units permits drawing oil samples. When the contamination in the lube oil has been returned to a specified cleanliness level, the drum can be resealed for later use. Or with the suction line still connected, the reconditioned oil can be fully dispensed or transferred on the spot. For commercial recyclers that use the Drum Recycling Wand, lubricating oil from clients can be reconditioned, oil samples drawn and analyzed, all in the client’s drum. Then without the need for further handling, the original drum can be returned to the client.
