48-inch diameter electro-lifting magnet
A new addition to Ohio Magnetics’ SUPER LOADSTAR Magnet Series, the 48 SLS-SUPER LOADSTAR is a 48-inch diameter, electro-lifting magnet with extremely high levels of lifting capacity. The 48 SLS-SUPER LOADSTAR features a rugged, cast case and a deep field design with increased duty-cycle for enhanced magnetic operation in scrap and other applications.
This new model also provides for a cooler operating temperature to promote an extended service life and is available with an optional LSX Heavy-Duty Bottom Plate. The 48 SLS features 46 cold amps at 230 volts, a 10 kW generator and weighs 3,400 pounds. This model, along with several other new product offerings will be on display at ISRI this year.
