ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada to acquire Quebec recycler Legault Métal

ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada announced that it is acquiring the assets of Legault Métal Inc., a metals recycling company with facilities in Trécesson, Val d'Or, Rouyn-Noranda and La Sarre, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue (Quebec, Canada). These sites, which will now operate under the name Legault Métal, a division of ArcelorMittal, will continue to deliver its services to scrap dealers and individuals.

Terrapure Environmental acquires leading environmental services business in Greater Montreal

Terrapure Environmental ("Terrapure"), a leading Canadian environmental solutions provider to industry, has announced it has acquired RSR Environnement ("RSR") of Vercheres, QC. The purchase includes vehicles and equipment, as well as RSR's employees and existing customer relationships. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Wastequip to acquire collection truck and hoist manufacturer Amrep

Wastequip, the manufacturer of waste handling equipment, has announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Amrep, a leading refuse body and hoist manufacturer.  A family-owned business based in Ontario, Calif. with additional facilities in Salisbury, N.C.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Pacific, Wash. and Sacramento, Calif., Amrep was founded in 1976 and has become a well-recognized brand in the West Coast market.
