Mack Trucks has announced that Mack Over The Air (OTA) will be available on refuse and recycling vehicles including the Mack 2018 Granite, TerraPro and LR models equipped with Mack 2017 GHG engines. Mack OTA allows customers to update software without disrupting their schedules, improving efficiency and increasing uptime. Mack made the announcement Tuesday May 9 at WasteExpo 2017 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Mack recognized for 20 years of support to Environmental Research & Education Foundation

Mack Trucks was honoured by the Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF) for its long-standing support of the organization’s research and education efforts around sustainable waste management. Curtis Dorwart, Mack refuse product manager (with plaque), was also recognized for his years of dedication and advocacy on behalf of EREF.

Since 1997 Mack has sponsored EREF’s Annual Charitable Auction, which raises funds for research and education to advance waste management technology and practices. EREF recognized Mack’s ongoing support at the 2016 auction, which was June 7 at WasteExpo 2016 in Las Vegas.
