MCLANAHAN enters mobile equipment market with MMS TRACK TROMMEL at CONEXPO

McLanahan Corporation introduced McLanahan Mobile Solutions at this year's CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017. At the event McLanahan displayed its MMS Track Trommel, which is ideal for processing aggregates, waste fines, construction and demolition material, compost, topsoil, ash and wood waste. This mobile trommel can be containerized when almost fully assembled, can be set up and running in just 15 minutes, and is capable of handling up to 165 tons per hour of material.

MMS Track Trommels feature a self-cleaning drum that minimizes downtime. The drum features four lifter bars and three warp-around screen mesh sections. The trommel drum measures 16’ 9” long by 4’ 7” diameter. All three mesh sections are bolted to the outside to make media changes simple and fast, and when maintenance is required the drum is easily lifted out. The screen angle of the drum is hydraulically adjustable from 0 to 4 degrees.

Designed with convenient, safe access doors to view collection conveyors and the feeder conveyer, MMS Track Trommels also feature variable speed drives on all conveyors. Simple on/off style control levels are clearly marked, and MMS Track Trommels can be hydraulically driven with forward and reverse capabilities. Emergency stops are located all over the machine for quick shut down when needed.

In order to provide easier access and better information to customers, McLanahan Corporation also recently launched www.mclanahanmobilesolutions.com to support their new range of mobile equipment.  Because this line is sold directly through a unique set of dealers and is readily available to customers, McLanahan wanted to provide a specific website that makes information directly available. The site focuses on mobile equipment solutions for crushing, screening, recycling and material handling applications. Visitors are able to quickly and easily find contact information, request a quote and locate the nearest dealer. The MMS website also provides information on McLanahan Capital.

Also on display this year at CONEXPO, McLanahan showed their MAX Series Vibrating Screens and improved modular sand plants.

MAX Series Vibrating Screens are capable of separating coarse feed materials from finer materials. Available in a range of sizes from 6’x16’ to 8’x24’, these screens are a low headroom design engineered to fit into existing structures and operations with no rework. Each screen is built with maximum steel strength to withstand heavy loading and with the durability to provide longer wear life.

McLanahan's modular sand plants for aggregate customers include a Separator/Cyclone, Sump, Pump and Dewatering Screen, are easy to set up with their modular design and process everything from coarse sand products to ultra fines, creating a dry-drip free product. Unlike competitors, McLanahan says their Modular Sand Plants are 100% customizable, and can be either screen or sump fed to provide maximum flexibility for a wide variety of feed slurries. The possibility of utilizing either a Separator or Cyclone provides additional flexibility for processing requirements. Modular Sand Plants can handle up to 5,000 gpm and up to 400 tph of sand product. McLanahan’s Modular Sand Plants also come in standardized sections that can be easily assembled to get plants up and running quickly.
