Recycling product manufacturer MODRoto was featured as the front cover story in the 2016 Rotational Molders Ranking issue of Plastics News, the magazine reporting on trends and innovations in the plastics industry worldwide. Revisiting the company that pioneered the use of rotational molding for manufacturing recycling carts with its Poly-Trux(R) 50P Series, the in-depth story titled “Pushing the Cart Forward” announced “It's a new era for a tried-and-true brand” for MODRoto under the leadership of President and COO J.R. Ryan. The story by Gayle S. Putrich covered the company's recent process innovations, plans for growth, emphasis on skilled, dedicated team members, and its key product lines, referring to its carts as the backbone of the business.

The story featured the company's Madison, Indiana headquarters, one of four facilities nationwide where the 50P Series recycling collection carts and the Ship Shape line of reusable, bulk plastic containers are manufactured. The Plastics News issue also described a proprietary, in-mold foaming process developed to increase the strength of plastic products without adding weight and highlighted its advanced rotational molding machinery. Out of the top 100 rotational molders in North America, Plastics News editors ranked MODRoto as the 16th largest rotational molder.
