Units are ideal for dust control on C&D and other recycling sites

Monsoon Gasoline Complete

Buffalo Turbine’s Monsoon Gasoline Complete model is ideal for use on demolition sites as well as at MRFs, landfills, compost facilities, transfer stations and anywhere else dust control is paramount. The Monsoon uses a gyratory atomizing nozzle and requires a hose input of 3/4-inch utility (or a garden hose.)

On a typical demolition site, the Monsoon is used for spraying to trap airborne dust particulates caused by the demolition of the structure, the cutting and processing of the C&D debris, and loading of the debris.

The Monsoon Gasoline Complete unit uses minimum water volume of five ounces per minute, up to 20 gallons per minute, and water pressure is at 40 psi up to 150 psi with droplet sizes from 50 to 200 microns. Throw distance (in neutral wind) is from 100 to 125 feet. These units also feature three oscillation settings of 30, 55 and 80 degrees, and use 27-hp Kohler engines.

The Monsoon’s coverage area is up to 12,000 square feet using the 80-degree oscillation setting. Units weigh 700 pounds and fuel capacity is six gallons (unleaded). A wireless remote control raises and lowers the throttle and nozzle direction. Plus, the Monsoon’s three-wheel trailer package can be removed to allow for two pockets for a forklift, or units can be skid-mounted.
