Magnum Force 6800B grinder

Grinds whole trees as fast as a 30-inch chipper can chip

Magnum Force 6800B grinder

According to Continental Biomass Industries (CBI) the Magnum Force 6800B is the first grinder ever made that can grind whole trees as fast as a 30" chipper can chip -- with a fraction of the prep and maintenance. Ideal for contaminated stumps and forest debris, the Magnum Force 6800B track unit is built for recyclers, land clearing companies and yard waste processors who demand the highest throughput and maximum reliability.

Features include a unique clamshell hog box design, state-of-the-art metal detection and release system, 765 – 1,050-hp diesel or electric power, PT Tech hydraulic clutch, and CBI's Replace-A-Face hammers. The 6800 B weighs between 82,000 and 89,000 pounds, making it legally transportable on a standard lowboy, and a four-inch thick, high strength rotor core is shear pin protected.

Additionally, the entire system is controlled by CBI’s IntelliGrind logic which incorporates feed speed that varies automatically with engine load, and an optional modem communications system that provides for real-time system diagnostics, analysis, and operating program adjustments, allowing the operator to optimize performance while avoiding costly downtime. The 6800B is available in portable, stationary, or track-mounted versions.
