New TS 69/90 shredder is designed for both compactness and power

Metso Recycling-Texas Shredder has introduced their new TS 69/90 shredder. According to the company the TS 69/90 was designed for compactness and power, and to better fit the demands of today’s small- to mid-size scrap processors in developing or smaller “niche” markets. Although smaller in size, these machines are built for processing a complete mix of scrap metal that is typical of larger shredders – appliances, light scrap and loose material, including both “peddler” scrap and car bodies.

The TS 69/90 is designed for 30 to 50 tons per hour output and an optional high density package is available for cooling scrap applications. Additional design features include a 40-degree feed chute, dual 30-inch feed roll, hydraulic roll drive, a shredding chamber based on the proven Lindemann ZZ175 design, spider rotor, single DC drive motor and basic electrical controls.
